As a veteran forever-DM that caters to "neurospicy" players (including those with autism and aphantasia), the 3d visual environment is nothing short of a complete game-changer.
Sometimes top-down 2d simply doesn't allow for people to really visualize the scene. Sometimes those used to "around the table" experiences simply cant or wont adapt to a screen experience. This VTT, in short, fixes all those problems for many, many people.
